Sunday school offers opportunities for a child to grow closer to God, made possible only by learning and understanding his Word – the Holy Bible, the study of history, traditions, and practices of the Holy Church. Training a child in the Christian culture of Love for God and humankind is especially essential and relevant in this age, due to the numerous challenges. The best time to learn and develop it, is from childhood.
Our Sunday School year runs from September through May, and classes convene every Sunday immediately after the Holy Qurbana. We have more than 10 students enrolled in the Sunday school program. The students are divided into grades based on age. Rev. Fr. Varghese Achen provides overall guidance and leadership for the Sunday School activities. Mr. Shiju Varghese is the Principal. We have a well-qualified team of teachers who handle the individual classes.
We also actively participate in national and local events such as Orthodox Vacation Bible School (OVBS), and regional Sunday school competitions conducted by the American Diocese and Ecumenical Kerala Christian Council (ECKC) programs
